About ISTE

The Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) is the leading National Professional non-profit making Society for the Technical Education System in our country with the motto of Career Development of Teachers and Personality Development of Students and overall development of our Technical Education System.  Jeppiaar Institute of Technology was recognised as Institutional Member of the society from 2011.

Advancement of Electronics, Telecommunication, Information Technology & other related disciplines; to contribute in nation's Human Resource & Infrastructure Development through our engineers.

Role of ISTE

• Organizing student beneficial programs such as Quiz programme, Guest lectures, Training program for project and placement, Counselling services and Entrepreneurship development programs, brain storming sessions, industrial visit, leadership programme, Environmental awareness and basic management training, Workshop on moral values and ethics.
• Work to strengthen the student community thereby increasing membership retention.
• Improve self confidence of students by encouraging them to exhibit individual talents.
• Providing a platform to share knowledge with all department students and with recent innovations.
• Encouraging students to involve in projects and recent technological innovations.
• To create scope and improvement for the betterment of humanity.
