Students have received scholarships from the government under SC /ST Scholarship, BC/MBC Scholarship, Minority Scholarship, First Graduate Scholarship.

SC& ST Scholarship scheme is a Centrally Sponsored Scheme and implemented through State Government and UT administration. The Scheme provides financial assistance to the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe students studying at post matriculation or post-secondary stage to enable them to complete their education.

Eligibility

  • The SC students enrolled in post-matriculation or post-secondary courses in recognized institutes/universities/colleges can apply for this scholarship
  • The annual family income of student’s parents/guardians should not exceed INR 2.5 Lakh per annum

Application process

  • Application form can be filled online via national scholarship portal (NSP) or respective state portal.
  • The candidates need to make sure to upload scanned required documents such as self-attested copies of certificates, diploma, degrees etc., and caste certificate & income declaration.

The reservation policy of the Government enables the socially and educationally Backward Classes to secure admission in Educational Institutions and to get employment in the services under the State Government.

Eligibility

Backward, Most Backward Classes and Denotified Communities students studying in Government and Government Aided Professional Colleges and in Self Financing Professional Colleges are Eligible for this Scholarship under Government quota.

Scholarship for BC, MBC and Minorities - scholarship of Govt of Tamilnadu - Educational assistance to the students of Minorities.

Eligibility

Denotified Communities students studying in Government and Government Aided Professional Colleges and in Self Financing Professional Colleges are eligible for the Scholarship under Government quota.
